First was Lara's Birthday.
Of course we played in the snow.
We went to the zoo twice. In addition to being about the only people there (which was awesome), it was great to see the animals playing in the snow.
The zoo has two baby giraffes.
We went to Niagara Falls.
Who needs snow pants?!
The kids were more excited by the big mounds of snow and ice than the falls.
I don't know who these guys were but the bar at their ankles is the safety rail! Needless to say, we did not venture close to the edge.
Lara and the kids started having weekly play dates with our friends Brianna, baby Ian, and Sage.
We made it to a few Daemen basketball games.
Although we did get a few flurries today, we are finally starting to thaw out. This past weekend the kids got out their bicycles. Even though it was in the 40's Gracie didn't seem to think she needed a coat. Grant rode his bike around the neighborhood with me while I ran. We sure loved the winter and all the snow it brought, but we are looking forward to putting away the snow shovel and enjoying the warm Spring weather.
