Happy Birthday Gracie

Gracie loved her Hello Kitty birthday party.  Lara made a fantastic cake and Gracie loved her gifts.  Our new house proved to be the perfect venue for the occasion.

Believe it or not, Grace has still been in a crib.  She loved her crib and never tried to climb out so we just kept using it.  Being a big 3-year old we thought it was definitely time to move her to bed...and she couldn't have been happier or prouder.

We were somewhat surprised that she was so good at going to sleep in her big girl bed.  Since Gracie has a bigger room we took the double bed that was in Grant's room and moved it to Grace's room and put up a twin bed in Grant's room.  Grant missed his old twin bed and was quite happy to have it back.

Grace has an outgoing personality at times and sometimes has a little sass too.  She has a weakness for "tweats" and even if she promises up and down that she won't eat any, she will try as soon as your eyes aren't on her.  She is a sweetheart and although she is still more of a Mommy's girl, she is becoming a Daddy's girl too.  Grant and her seem to be playing together a lot these days and although they bicker at times, they definitely enjoy each others company.  The other day Grant woke up Lara with this picture he drew and said to her "This is me and Grace holding hands and looking up at the stars together."  Love that boy!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Grace!  You mean more than words can express to all of us.  We love you.
