Our Little Girl

Today we made it back home and I thought I would just throw up a few pics from the past 4 days.  Both Lara and Grace are doing great.  We are enjoying every minute with our precious little girl.

Grant loves his little sister and will tell you so if you ask him.  When Grace started to cry for the first time Grant got quite upset and started to cry himself.  After calming down he said,"she needs a blanket".  Lara and I think he is going to be an amazing big brother. He was happy to have her home today.

Grace was born today, 1/24, at 9:39 am.  She weighed 7lbs 15.5 ozs and was 20 inches long.  Both baby and mommy are healthy and doing well.  Here are just a few quick pics of are new bundle of joy.  Many more pics will follow in the coming days.

Sledding in January...

Grant has been patiently waiting for snow all winter.  We have only had a dusting all year and so we haven't been able to get the sled out.  Today we had a chance for snow but again all we got was rain.  Grant and I decided we were sick of waiting and decided to go sledding anyway.  Hopefully we do get some snow soon though so we can build the snowman that he just can't wait to build.

Now I know my ABC's

The first time Grant sang the ABC's, he sang them the whole way through and at the end he said,"now I know my ABC's, next time won't you laugh at me."  Actually, Lara and I laughed in amazement as he was singing because we had no idea that he knew them.  Here is a dark video of a sleepy Grant singing his ABC's.
