No real big events, but we had plenty of fun in April. We spent a lot of time getting to know Raymour, got the canoe in the water, and had a great visit with Papa Jim.
I tried to take Raymour on a 3 mile run only to discover that he has about 1 mile in him! It was a slow walk home.
We built some new shelves in the bathroom.
Before After
Grant had his first Art show. After this year in school, he now thinks that he wants to be an artist. I think that is in large part to his amazing art teacher that not only did fantastic art projects but also taught him all about a number of fine artists.

Easter
Before Easter we dyed eggs and had an Easter egg hunt at our house.

It was such a warm, beautiful day on Easter. The kids woke up excited to find their Easter baskets.
And then it was on to Cook Forest. The whole Standfest crew celebrated and had dinner down by the river. The kids played on the playground, played baseball, and had an Easter egg hunt. Grant got stung by a yellow jacket but it didn't slow him down too much.

Our new Pup
We adopted Raymour on March 14. These are pictures from before we adopted him and the first few days that we had him. He is such a sweet dog and has made a smooth transition into our family. Luna bosses him around a bit but she has certainly grown to love him. He was found on a couch in Niagara Falls and the SPCA gave him the name Raymour after a local furniture company. His collar was embedded in his neck and the collar latch was poking into his neck. We sure are glad that he is ours!
