Grace's 6th Birthday

Gracie had a great birthday party with her cousins and grandparents.  The Fiscus family came and stayed the night before and Grandma and Papa stayed the night after.

On Grace's birthday we took these cute cupcakes, that Lara made, into Grace's class and...

we had dinner at the Rainforest Cafe in Niagara Falls.

An extra bonus is that it was family night and someone was there that could make anything out of balloons.  Grace asked for a dog and Grant got a sword.

Other Chrsitmas Break Fun

 The kids had some fun with friends.  This is Grant with his best buddy Jackson and below is Gracie at her friend Aubrey's birthday party.

A trip to the zoo.  We were about the only people there and a bunch of the animals were interested in us.

New Year's!
We stayed at home and had a few special treats.  The kids tried to stay up to watch the ball drop.  Grand made it to 12 but Gracie zonked out on the couch about an hour early.

The Lion King...
We took Papa Jim to the Lion King when it came to Shea's in Buffalo.  The weather was horrible that night with a large pile-up on the interstate and talk that all roads in Buffalo might be closed!  Luckily Papa made it here and they didn't close the roads.  It was a great show and provided a connection to the kids to Grandma Jan, who took us all to see it in Cleveland after seeing it with Dad in Toronto many years ago.

This is Grant's 3rd year skiing and Grace's 2nd.
