Congrats Amy, Lisa, and Jenny!

Amy, Lisa, and Jenny all ran races last week in Cook Forest.  Jenny and Amy ran the half-marathon and Lisa ran the 5k.  Everyone did great!  It was Amy's first half-marathon and Lisa's first 5k.  Unfortunately we didn't get to see Lisa run but got some pics of Jenny and Amy who ran the race together.  They were crazy fast, finishing with an average pace of 8 minutes/mile.  Congrats girls!

After the race we celebrated Dale, Lisa, and Jeff's birthdays.  Here's a few cute pics from the afternoon.

I can't believe it has been so long since we last posted!  Things here have been busy the past month.  I am finishing up my Ph.D. and searching for jobs and Lara is back to work part-time at the animal hospital.  We had a great time coloring eggs today.  Here are some of the best pics.

Grant enjoyed coloring eggs but all he really wanted to do was eat them...so we did.

 

Gracie loved the egg that Mommy made for her.  Our little girl seems to smile all the time.  She has been sleeping through the night for quite awhile and always wants to be held during the day.

 
After coloring eggs we finished off our afternoon having a fire and playing in the yard.
