Our Christmas trip to Little Washington!

Christmas!

We were too busy celebrating and didn't bother to take many photos but we do have some good video of the kids opening presents.  Grant and Grace were both up early...before the sun came up early.

Then it was off to Grandma and Papa's to celebrate with them and all the aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Winter is Here!

What a perfect day.  We already had 3 inches of snow and got 3-4 more today.  Tomorrow the forecast is calling for another 3-5".  We spent a lot of the day outside enjoying it.

  

Christmas Time

Earlier this week we made a gingerbread house.  We always make one but usually cheat and just buy a kit at the store.  This year we made our own from scratch.  As Gracie would say,"easy-breezy lemon squeezy".  

On Tuesday Gracie had her Christmas concert at the elementary school.  Papa Jim came to watch.  She did great and it was a lot of fun to watch.  Afterwards, we all went to the Rainforest Cafe to celebrate.

On Thursday Lara and I got to go to both the kids Christmas parties at school.

Getting our Christmas Tree

We went to a Christmas tree farm this year for our tree.  They had a lodge with a whole bunch of animal mounts and then some live animals outside.  A few goats, one zebra and a couple of big deer.
