September

Gracie spent some time this summer petting the neighbor dog, Mocha, when she would stop over.

And of course, cuddling Tunes.

The last hurrah of summer was camping at Papa Jim's and going to the Great Stoneboro Fair.

We had fun on Papa Jim's new 4-wheeler and Grant enjoyed shooting a .22 for the first time.

Then it was time to get ready for school...our last year at Sidway!

After supply drop-off we went out to eat at the Comic Book Cafe...

where Grant played his first pinball machine.

First Day of 3rd Grade!!!

First Day of First Grade!!!

First on the bus and first home.  Next year Grant and Grace will finally ride the same bus.

First day presents and treats.

A visit from Papa Jim and Aunt Denise.

I chose to have my birthday dinner at Duff's.

We stayed in a hotel and went to Edinboro's Homecoming.  Grant and ran the kilted mile for the 2nd year.

Gracie really got into getting the candy this year.

Like last year, we met up with the Hetricks at homecoming.  Sophia decided to come home with us and hangout for a day.

We finished up the month with the annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Light the Night Walk in Erie, PA.  This year they had some fireworks which was nice, but regardless, it is always a great night to remember Grandma Jan.  As in the past few years, we met up with Papa Jim and the Hetricks there.
