Last week we went to Illinois in search of a house. The ride is about 9.5 hours without stops. So with 2 little ones it was quite the trip. They both did good though. We had to stop about every exit for awhile for Grant to try to go to the bathroom. He kept saying that he had to go but then he couldn't. Eventually he did and then the trip went much smoother. On the way back we only made one half hour stop! We didn't take many pictures as we were either driving around in the van from house to house or were sleeping. We may have found a house. The rental market there is quite competitive and every house gets multiple applications in on it. You then have to wait for the owner to select who they want to rent to. Hopefully we hear something soon.
Thankfully, Naperville seemed to have a playground on every corner. Since the majority of our time was in the van they provided a nice place to eat lunch and let Grant burn of some steam.
The kids slept great in the hotel room. We decided the best set-up was to stick Grant in the pack-n-play and put Grace in bed with us. Amazingly we would say it was bed time shut out some lights and both kids were snoozing in no time.
Here's the river walk in Naperville. It's no paradise but it was pretty nice.
And you can't get an ice cream cone like this at paradise!

Paradise
Fisherman's Paradise is an area about 3 miles from our house. Spring Creek runs through it and a large trout hatchery is there. Grant has called it "paradise" since he could talk. We have always enjoyed going there but our visits lately have been extra-special knowing we will be leaving the area soon. Here are a few pics of us in paradise.
Here are just a few cute pics of the kids from the past week or so.
Gracie was there too but she just can't seem to stay awake on the walk to our favorite spot.
