Unfortunately no pics of Grant in the kayak, but we did take him on his first kayak trip. Towards the end of the 2-hour ride he spun around so he was facing me, gave me a big hug, and said, "love". I think it's safe to say the little guy loves being in the kayak as much as I do!
It was a weekend for firsts as it was also the first real bike ride he went on. We just got him a helmet and a bike seat and although he doesn't look like it here, he loved it! The next week at home he would say, "camping" or "bike ride" out of the blue.
We had a ton of fun camping but have been having fun at home too. Here we are planting some tomatoes or "trees" as Grant calls them.

This is Grant watching the neighbor girl while we were out washing the car. He wanted to see her but then got shy when she talked to him. He is really getting to be a big boy these days. He talks a lot and likes to ham it up to get Lara and I to laugh. Just the other day he came to me with his shoes on (crocs) and my shoes in his hand and said, "daddy outside". They sure grow fast!
