Here's Lara with Luke. She held him ALL day! We had backpacks and snugglies but I think both Lara and Luke were enjoying their cuddle time together. We tied my sweatshirt around Lara to keep Luke warm.

Here are the two marathoners at dinner after the race. Somehow still walking around and holding children!

And here they are finally getting to relax and take it easy in the hot tub at the hotel. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Lara and I are so proud of you and amazed by you!!!

After those festivities we traveled to Johnstown, OH to visit Jason, Heather, Cody & Carly. It is always great to see you guys and although it was a short visit we really enjoyed it. I wished we lived closer so we could spend more saturdays drinking beer and watching football.

Who is this baby? Carly has grown up so much since we saw her last.

Cody was a ham as always and is as cute as ever.
We pulled out of Jason & Heather's early to head to a family reunion hosted By Uncle Dale & Aunt Ann in Pittsburgh. It was great to catch up with everyone. The rain even let up so we could enjoy some time outside. On our way home we were rudely brought back into the real world by a police officer presenting us with a well-deserved speeding citation. We got back home at about 10 o'clock Sunday night. Even traffic citation included, it was a stupendous weekend!

My How She Has Grown

Our friends Jon, Carolyn, & Lily came for a visit this past weekend. It was so nice to share time with them. Lily is getting so big and is as cute as ever. She is still an animal lover and really took to the dogs with no fear. She also took the opportunity to show off her intellect and I was quite impressed. She knew some of her letters and when seeing an M she would say, "M is for mama" and she recognized quite a few others (D is for dog, E is for Elmo, etc). Thanks so much for visiting guys. The next time we see you we will have a little one of our own!

Showered with Love (& Gifts)

Lara had her baby shower on Saturday. Although I hid in the basement the majority of time playing wii and watching football on the big screen (Thanks Jed!!!), it seemed to be a great one. From the decorations....to the food.....to the activities, it was all amazing. Thank you everyone so much for everything. We came home with a carload of gifts and I think all we need now is a baby. I'll now direct you to Amy's blog for a great recap of the event.

A Master

I am a little slow to post but a few weeks ago we went to see my good friend Ben's Master's Thesis art exhibition in Indiana, PA. Lara and I were so glad we made it to the show. I had already seen many of Ben's paintings but the exhibit really allowed you to feel the theme. I won't post many pics of his work but I advise you to check out his website at www.benoddi.com. Although his paintings look great online it is no substitute for seeing them in person. It is a degree well deserved. Congratulations Ben!!!

Rock on Ben, Rock on!!!
