Christmas

On Christmas Eve the kids exchanged the gifts that they got for each other.  Grant picked out that shirt for Grace all on his own and using his own money (1st year for that).

Of course, we put out some treats for Santa and the reindeer.

Christmas morning was as special and wonderful as we all hoped.

Then it was time to start our Christmas road trip...Grandma and Papa's, Altoona, Aunt Peggy's, and Uncle Jason/Aunt Heather's.  It was a fantastic Christmas.

We went on a 12/26 hike with Grandma in Cook Forest before heading out of town.

Then it was off to Altoona to see the Lights on the Lake.  We made a stop in Clearfield to get some ammo at Grice's and for our first ever (but hopefully not last!) dinner at Denny's.

We had a fun night in the hotel with some swimming and then it was off to Aunt Peg's to visit with her and Jackie, Lily and Constance.

We spent anther fun night in a hotel before heading to Uncle Jason's.

Lunch at Cracker Barrel

Papa Jim visited for the day on Saturday.  He had a rough ride getting there as his wheel bearing was completely shot.  Thankfully the local NAPA had one in stock and we were able to get the truck all fixed up so he get home as planned that night.

$2 bills from Papa Jim

We made it back to relax and celebrate New Year's at home.  It was the first year that Gracie stayed up until midnight.  Grant stayed up last year for the first time.  We took this pic just before the ball drop.
