Grant and Gracie left out milk, cookies, and carrots for Santa and the reindeer.
And sure enough the big guy stopped by.
Grant woke us up by yelling,"Mommy, Daddy come get me. It's Christmas!"
Gracie seemed excited...
and so was her brother.
Grant got the dump truck that he wanted from Santa. He also got his first bike, that he loves. Christmas day he watched a new movie while sitting on his bike.
Surprisingly the other big hit with our kids were new clothes. Grant loves what he calls, "team clothes". That would be any sports clothes. Lara picked up this UConn basketball shirt awhile back. As soon as he opened it, he ripped off his PJ's and put it on. Lara and I later said to each other that seeing him in a Connecticut shirt gave us a somber reminder of how lucky we were to be celebrating together.
As you can see here, Gracie also approved of her clothes.
