Birthday Girl!

Today was our little girls first birthday.  And so even though I am behind on posting, I wanted to put up a few pics of Gracie on the day that she turned 1.  I hope to get pictures up of our Christmas trip to PA and the Fiscus trip to Chicago ASAP.  Also during our trip home, Gracie got to celebrate her birthday with many of her cousins last month.  Pictures will be coming soon...promise.      

It is hard for me to believe that we have only had our giggly, smiling girl for one year.  It just seems like she has always been with us.  Her first word was Mom and it is about all she says.  Occasionally a Dad slips in there but she is no doubt a Momma's girl.  She has been waving for awhile and has recently started saying, "night, night".  Gracie is quite sturdy on her feet and can stand by herself and balance.  She has worked up the courage, a few times, to try to walk and has taken 3 steps before falling down.  If Mommy is her first choice, Grant is no doubt her second.  Grace tries to imitate so much of what he does, including growling like a dinosaur.  She used to always give kisses with an open mouth.  Now, she puckers up and makes a kissing noise.  Here are a few pics from our little girls birthday today.
