Luke looked like he was really roughing it! He seemed to be a bit bumped and bruised but was still smiling!
Gracie is acting so much older these days. She loves playing in her exersaucer. Today when I got home from work she kept making noise to get my attention and smiled from ear to ear when she got it. She is a bugger to nap and go to bed but is always happy and smiling. Mommy and Grant are definitely her two favorite people. She has been making us feel guilty for eating the past few weeks. She watches us eat intently and often tries to take a bite of our food. So, she started getting something other than Mommy's milk this week and knew just what to do.
It has been so crazy hot lately that to enjoy being outside you need to be in the water. Since we were getting tired of the kiddie pool in the backyard we went to Bald Eagle State Park and played in the water there. Grant is at an age where he really loves it.
Grant still talks from sunrise to sun-set and is so inquisitive. When I put him to bed he goes over everything we did that day and asks what is planned for tomorrow. Here is a quick review of a "brief" conversion today. He asked me where bugs go when we swat them away, and I told him they just fly somewhere else. He then said, "um, they probably go back to their home in the flowers in the trees.....What do bugs drink out of the flowers? Nectar. Is nectar yellow? No, it's clear and sweet. Like juice? Yes. Yummy, we should drink it..." and on and on he goes. It amazes me how he asks so many questions but remembers the answers we give, kids are such sponges at his age. He is really into pretending that his toys are talking to him and he often has a pretend bird or mouse with him. He is starting to do well with his potty training (Yeah!) so hopefully we will soon be down to just 1 in diapers.

They look SO alike! :) Gracie is such an angel and Grant's voice/questions is one of the cutest things on Earth.
I love that you guys are really soaking up all that is good in State College before you head to Chicago!
But man...we're going to miss those cuties!
