We decided it was now or never to get our Christmas tree, so last week we headed out to the great unknown to get one. Well really we hopped in our car and went two minutes down the road to a little tree farm. For Grant it was a grand adventure. It was his first trip away from home (except to see the Dr.). He was so excited that he actually woke up for the occasion.
Aside from that adventure, Grant also got to meet some new people this week. Our good friends Beth and Patrick spent Saturday with us and showered Grant with gifts. Thanks for coming to visit and for all the gifts and the delicious cake! It was GREAT to see you!!!
The rest of the week Grant spent cuddling Mommy and Daddy.
Now that is a darn near perfect week!

OH MY WORD!! He is changing so much!! What a little chunky monkey!! You can really see his weight gain in the pictures!! All those middle of the night feedings are good for something--right, Lara?!? You really are doing so well!! The first month is the toughest, and Grant is thriving!!!

So happy to see more of Grant!!!! I know you stare at him constantly, but WOW is he ever changing right before your eyes!!! I can't believe it!! He's just such a precious little guy! Love that reindeer hat & his expression! Give him a couple smooches from us :) Cute tree, too!
Jeff and Lara - I can't get enough of little Grant! He is so adorable! I hope you two are doing well and just getting the chance to enjoy every moment with Grant. Lara, I hope you're doing especially well, healing and getting rest when you can.
