October highlights

Ben & Nate's birthday party...

which was followed by a family canoe trip (& picnic) the next day on the Clarion river.

We hiked the eternal flame trail in WNY.  It is a natural gas emission that is burning behind a waterfall.  It was a pretty strenuous hike and the kids did great and had so much fun.

Other September fun...

Lara ran the Mighty Niagara half-marathon.

We had a fire and watched the supermoon eclipse.

We went to the Light the Night walk in Erie with Dad, Uncle Skip, and the Hetricks.

 
And all the everyday fun things.

Labor Day

For Labor Day we went to Lake Ontario.  It is only about 30 min from the house and the kids love throwing rocks in the lake and playing in the water.

What we've been doing this Fall

Our Fall has been quite busy and consequently we haven't been keeping up with the blog.  I am going to update it starting back in September.

In what has become a tradition, we met up with the rest of the Law clan at the great Stoneboro Fair in early September.  Nothing says home like a demolition derby!
